"Give me the Cheap Stuff" isn't always the best philosophy for choosing your packaging tape.
The climate you work in and the type of box, along with the weight, play very important roles in choosing the tape that is right for you.
If you are using more than one strip of tape to seal your carton, you are using the wrong tape. Move to a thicker tape , like the G M Specialty tape which will give you more grab and strength than the regular carton sealing tape.
Remember if you are using more than one strip you are wasting time and money.
