This amazing moving supply product beads are around the size of pea. The beads wind up into an extruder with a long cylinder. Inside the cylinder is a screw which runs the entire length. As the screw turns, it builds up heat and melts the resin into a liquid which is squeezed out of the cylinder into staked sheets of clear plastic film. The first layer of the film is wrapped around a drum, and has holes punched in it. Suction is then applied by drawing one web of film into the holes forming the bubbles. The second layer is laminated over the first layer of film joining the two together. Thus trapping air into these bubble wraps everyone knows of today.
